About me

Hi, I’m Abdullah Ibnah Hasan, a research engineer at a stealth startup, where I build large-scale retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems for financial data. I am interested in robustness under distribution shift.

I completed my Higher Secondary Certificate at Dhaka College with a GPA of 5.00/5.00 and my Secondary School Certificate at Monipur High School, also with a GPA of 5.00/5.00.

After high school, I co-founded Calibrator-Z, a youth robotics organization, and led the Mission 64 Districts initiative. This project aimed to expand hands-on robotics access to underserved communities, reaching over 10,000 students in remote areas. My role involved designing and implementing educational programs that focused on practical skills and sustainable learning. In addition to my work with Calibrator-Z, I worked as a quantitative researcher for two years, managing research-focused projects that involved analyzing large data sets and optimizing performance metrics. I collaborated closely with a team of researchers, using my analytical skills to drive decision-making and improve outcomes in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Beyond work, I cook passionately to avoid starvation (proof), read dead philosophers, and lift heavy objects to maintain the illusion of control.

Key Research

Here is a list of research papers I’ve published. I haven't found anything groundbreaking 😅, but I’ve learned a lot through them. They’re also on my Google Scholar profile.
